Het vijfde seizoen van The Voice of Holland nadert zijn ontknoping. Volgende week is de finale en dus is het er nu op of onder voor de kandidaten. En waar O’G3ne vanaf hun verschijning de gedoodverfde favoriet voor de overwinning waren, ben ik daar nu niet meer zo zeker van. Mijn voorspelling: David Dam gaat er uiteindelijk met de winst vandoor.
O’G3ne verblufte in de Blind Auditions met hun vertolking van Destiny’s Childs Emotion. Maar zo imponerend als dat liedje, werd het niet meer bij de zusjes. Tel daarbij op dat we gedurende het programma maar weinig te weten komen over het trio. Een beetje mysterie rondom een kandidaat is prima, maar nu geven ze eigenlijk geen handvatten om zich aan je te binden.
De ginger David daarentegen vind ik elke ronde sterker worden. Vocaal in orde, tekstbeleving en performance erg sterk. En niet onbelangrijk: hij staat steeds zelfverzekerder in de studio.
Vanavond staan de zogeheten crossbattles op het programma. Elke kandidaat moet het opnemen tegen iemand uit een ander team. De kandidaten die deze test doorstaan, mogen alvast hun single ten gehore brengen.
De singles zijn dit jaar geënt op het principe van ‘The Story of My Life’, bedacht door de Amerikaanse Voice-coach Pharrell Williams. Elke kandidaat is met behulp van ‘grote artiesten’ aan de slag te gaan een nummer te schrijven, waardoor een persoonlijk nummer ontstaat. Het onderwerp kan bijvoorbeeld een verloren liefde zijn, of een jeugdtrauma.

Vocaal gezien, zijn de meiden van O’G3ne toppers, maar vocale vrouwelijke toppers in Nederland..daar zijn er al veel van. Waar we volgens mij bij The Voice of Holland naar opzoek zijn, is een artiest die het pop-landschap in Nederland verrijkt. Oftewel een nieuwe muzikale smaak (de Nederlandse Justin Timberlake) die we nog niet kennen. En dan komen we al snel uit bij David Dam. Want David kan zich met zijn vocale kwaliteiten meten met O’G3ne, maar heeft daarbij ook nog eens de skills om te entertainen als Dr. Rum en de voicepower van Emmaly Brown. David “The Redhead of Soul” heeft daarom zicht op een succesvolle carrière binnen het muzikale poplandschap van Nederland.
Hmmm… David af door de zijdeuren. Hij deed een Charly Lusketje.

I am really disappointed with the results from the game show Holland’s got talent and now The voice of Holland.
All of you did not respect the real talents.
Base on the viewers at youtube, David dam is not a favourite in Holland but also everywhere in the world.
When I saw Ali B and Ilse are so happy when David Dam must be stopped. Now I understood why the music of Holland could not be famous anymore.
We should choose a real talent not only for a game show, but also for the whole country.
I am very sorry about the way all of you play the game.
I stop watching the voice of Holland next week.
I hope all of you will find out a real talent to show off to the world by your ways.

Wat ontzettend jammer dat David niet verder gat, hij is de bom!
Wat is hier aan de hand? Hoe komt het dat de juryleden Ilse en Ali er zo op aan sturen toch vooral op Guus te stemmen? Je reinste manipulatie en de “talentenjacht” is op deze manier verworden tot een van de vele spelletjes die er vandaag in grote getale te zien zijn op de televisie. Wat jammer toch! David naar het Songfestival. Dat was een goede keuze geweest.
Dat snapte ik ook. Maar eigenlijk ook wel, want de single die Guus heeft opgenomen is geschreven door Ilse. En als Guus doorgaat betekent dat kassa voor haar.
Ook de coaches moeten ervan doordrongen zijn dat het gaat om de Voice. Dus ik vind dat dit soort acties verboden moeten zijn voor de coaches. Niet professioneel van ze.

Via the internet, I know there are some countries such as: Viet Nam, China..ect..have scandals in the show “ The voice of…”. Some of the candidates used money or sex to go to final or becoming a winner.
But I don’t dare to think, it happened in Holland too – a country has an international court .Although I know behind of the scenes of the artists life is very complicated.They are ready to kill each others to become famous.
One of my favourite singers of the voice of Holland is : Dennis Kroon.
When I listen he sang “hello” , he make me think about Lionel Richie-very manly but still very romantic.
I like and respect him. Because he is not a man has a good voice like to sing but aslo he is a soldier.

But , what did David dam make mistakes in last show? Nothing. He is quite perfect.
Guus Mulder is cute and not bad. But we need the best.
What the winner can do for the country after the show is more important than in the show.
Listen David dam singing, he make me think about : Smokie band and Bryan adams.But David Dam of Holland is still David, he did not copy from them. He sang “Let’s get it on” better than the winner x-factor UK: James Arthur ..many times.
Singing & dacing very well, writing the song, good appearance and still very young..what else can we expect more from a star?

I feel funny to compare the images of Ali B and Ilse: They shouted, they moved, be happy and they want to have him at The Blind Auditions some months ago.
And now Ali B and Ilse are continue to shout,to move, and to be happy when they know David dam must be stopped.
What kind of the behaviours for the artists?
The personal victory is important more than the country victory?

David is niet door het publiek weggestemd maar op een schaamteloze wijze door Ilse en Ali. Manipulatie van de bovenste plank. Wat een allround performer die hier zijn biezen heeft moeten pakken, een potentiële winnaar. Ik wist niet wat ik zag hoe Ilse en Ali het stemgedrag probeerden te beïnvloeden. Marco en Trijntje hebben de juiste klasse voor dit programma, de rest is decorum. De Voice heeft bij mij zijn glans verloren.
hier zit duidelijk een luchtje aan! dit klopt natuurlijk niet,wekenlang de favoriet van Nederland en nu ineens de minste stemmen? ze hebben hem eruitgegooid omdat het anders alleen tussen team Trijntje en Borsato gaat! en dat kan natuurlijk niet. Ik durf te wedden dat er gemanipuleerd is! bewijs hebben we natuurlijk niet,helaas.
Wat een vreemde situatie ben het eens met Grietje dat was niet echt eerlijk om Guus zo te promoten zoals Ali deed..
Voor mij is en blijft David de TOPPER en inderdaad stuur hem naar Songfestival!
Bronnen rondom The Voice of Holland weten te melden dat bij het productieteam paniek ontstond toen bleek dat Guus meer stemmen kreeg dan David Dam. De lobby van Ali en Ilse (vanwege de promotie van het door haar geschreven nummer) wordt hen niet in dank afgenomen. Lees: John de Mol was razend. Bij het melden van de tussenstand bleek David Dam 5% voorsprong te hebben op Guus, maar dat werd niet gemeld. Daardoor gingen de fans van Guus extra SMSen terwijl de fans van David dachten dat het wel goed zat. Het resultaat is geschiedenis. De smsende tienermeisje hielpen Guus in het zadel en dit is precies waarom de scene waar David Dam uit komt, programma’s als The Voice haat. Uiteindelijk kan de poging van David Dam dapper worden genoemd, maar met terugwerkende kracht kan worden vastgesteld dat echt talent het verliest van tieners die popsongs brengen. Die David Dam komt er wel, van Guus zullen we na aanstaande vrijdag nooit meer iets horen…
